BridgeCare began with a simple observation: for too many people in BC, seeing a doctor means a long drive, a longer wait, or going without. We built a bridge.
Why we exist
British Columbia is vast. From Haida Gwaii to Peace, from Port Hardy to the Kootenays, hundreds of thousands of people live hours from the nearest available doctor. When the clinic is far and the waitlist is long, an ordinary infection or a routine refill turns into a day lost—or a problem left untreated.
BridgeCare is for everyone in BC. We have noticed that patients from Northern BC and Vancouver Island book with us especially often—communities where distance has long stood between people and care, and where virtual visits make the biggest difference. But wherever you are in the province, you're welcome here.
So we built a clinic without a waiting room: a BC-licensed doctor you see each visit, a secure video platform with a privacy-compliant EMR, and MSP coverage for eligible residents. Often same- or next-day. Same care, no commute.

How our care is delivered
Every BridgeCare appointment is a private video consultation with Dr. Babak Ghavami, licensed to practise in British Columbia. Visits run on a secure, privacy-compliant platform with an electronic medical record, and your health information is handled in line with BC privacy law.
Because we're a virtual clinic, there's no front desk and no paper shuffle—booking, your appointment, and any prescriptions or requisitions all flow through one secure system. If your care needs to move in person, your physician helps you get there.
